Unfold

Tightly closed
Won’t let go
Dark, afraid
Inside I stayed

Breath knocked
At the door
To the chamber
Of my Heart

Persistent as the
Ocean waves
In and out
Your rhythms
Rock me from deep inside.

I hear the hum as your
Sound waves penetrate
My iron cage.

Tightly closed
Won’t let go
Dark, afraid
Inside I stayed

Sharp the pain
Afraid to let go
Inside
Outside
Screaming No

The unknown
Fear a master

Tight as a knot
Your breath wave
Melted the armor
Of the little me

Light inside
No where to run and hide
Surrender, I bend
Soul strings begin
To mend
Unraveling
My heart
The fire, the light
Springs forth in the depths
Of my night!

Caged layers of my heart
Let go of the old
I begin to
Unfold.
